We first met early on in the planning process and Yan really took the time to get to know us and our story. He placed a lot of emphasis and care in wanting to capture our love story through his photos. I was honestly a bit stressed about doing family photos, but Yan made the entire experience so easy and enjoyable. From the very beginning, he was considerate of our needs and made sure to take the time to understand what we wanted. He even helped us prepare by creating a mood board of pictures to nail down the vibe and the creative shots ahead of time. This was a total game changer, as it made choosing outfits, props, and the overall feel of the shoot so much easier. The kids took to him right away. The session felt like a breeze, with lots of laughter and a really light, joyful atmosphere throughout. He even brought a speaker to play our favourite tunes, which kept the energy, fun and relaxed. Working with Yan for our engagement shoot was absolutely incredible. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and customized the shoot to reflect our story. We had a photo shoot for our engagement in Vancouver, capturing our last years living in the city. The wedding itself took place in Colombia, surrounded by our entire family.
