Yan is an OUT OF THIS WORLD photographer. We hired him for our engagement and wedding day in October 2021. He went above and beyond our expectations, and has an incredible gift of capturing raw moments of time. Not only is he incredibly skilled, he's also super fun and easy to work with, which is needed on a crazy wedding day! My husband and I had a covid wedding and had so much stress and plans changing, yet Yan made the day so special! He set us right at ease and was so relational the whole day, from chatting with my family while we got ready to helping Levi and I loosen up and look natural post-ceremony. Somehow, Yan captured every special moment and all the emotion of each moment! He is such an amazing storyteller through photo and video, and a joy to work with!

Yan documented our engagement photoshoot and wedding day so beautifully. He's great at making us feel comfortable during the shoots and captured our relationship and emotions so well! Yan was the most incredible photographer we could have ever found. Our photos came out more incredible than we could have imagined. Yan was professional, communicative and ensured that he understood our vision for the wedding. When we decided to include a videographer, he organized it so that we would not have to worry. When I made a "must have" shot list, I trusted that Yan would deliver, and he went above and beyond. On the day of our wedding he was early, chatted with our guests and was so kind and caring to each of them. I had people telling more for days later how much they enjoyed their interactions with Yan. The turn around for our photos was also incredibly quick, and we were shocked to receive a lovely surprise of 10 edited photos on our first day of married life! To this day, we have friends who continue to talk about our wedding and the photos that were taken. Yan also edited our wedding video and did an outstanding job. He used the perfect audio clips, chose a lovely song, and ensured that special moments were included. I could not recommend Yan enough for your wedding. Your expectations will be exceeded beyond belief, and the photos you receive will become heirlooms.

Highly recommend Yan! We hired him for our wedding in June 2020 for videography and had an amazing experience. Before the wedding: He was very prompt with communication and gave ideas of what we could do in our video. He even offered his own mics for the wedding so that audio would always be clear. During the wedding: He has a very low barrier approach and easy to work with so we felt completely comfortable in the whole experience. He was able to capture all the big moments to the smaller heartwarming details that showed the joy and wonder of our day. He even brought out his drone for that extra special effect! Final product: Yan was very prompt in sending over edited versions of our wedding video for any feedback - which was that it was absolutely beautiful and perfectly captured the story of our special day. He even added in my calligraphy in the title!

Yan is our favourite photographer and filmmaker for our various life moments. He has helped capture our engagement, wedding, pregnancy and family photos/videos. We met him early in his career and could tell that he is going to shine by sharing his photography talent with the world. We are so glad he is doing just that. He has a unique and beautiful perspective. This translates into stunning masterpieces for you to remember moments by. Moreover, he is very personable and fun to work with. Having someone that makes you feel comfortable is important for whatever occasion you need commemorated in pictures/videos. He was our wedding videographer. He did an excellent job! The video captures the essence of day. He even has a drone flyover for certain scenes. We love re-living that day through the video. If you are looking for an amazing person to work with, Yan is your guy. We recommend him for any occasion really, but specially for your wedding day!

Yan was AMAZING. He was so kind and SO easy to be around. He made my fiancé and I very comfortable and we had so much fun. It was pouring the day that we took photos and Yan turned it into an amazing experience that resulted in absolutely flawless photos. He was also very quick at editing and posting our gallery.
